Public programs can strengthen the EV market and, in some cases, help eligible charging projects. Programs change, so every opportunity still needs a current eligibility check.
Driver demand
Canada’s Electric Vehicle Affordability Program offers eligible buyers and businesses up to $5,000 on qualifying light-duty EVs in 2026, supporting continued growth in the vehicles that need places to charge.
